Y CONNECT
Connecting Older Adults to Wellness, Friendship & Community

Y Connect is a YMCA of Harrison County community wellness program designed to create greater opportunities for connection, wellness, friendship and community.

The Y Connect Older Adult Program provides a welcoming place for older adults to gather, enjoy a light lunch, participate in activities, and build meaningful connections with others. Each gathering will offer a variety of social, recreational and wellness-focused activities designed to encourage engagement and support healthy aging.

Each Y Connect gathering may include:
• Games and fun activities
• Light lunch and fellowship
• Wellness and healthy-aging topics
• Opportunities to meet new people and build friendships
• Special activities, guest speakers and community connections
• Transportation assistance may be available for participants who need help getting to the YMCA

When: Wednesdays & Fridays, 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
Begins: October 14, 2026

Cost:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   • FREE for YMCA members

• FREE for those with eligible insurance fitness benefits, including SilverSneakers, Renew Active and Silver & Fit. Because these participants are listed as non-members in Core, we recommend registering in person with Member Services staff so the appropriate discount code can be applied and the $25 fee removed.

• $25 for 5 visits for those who are not YMCA members and do not have an eligible insurance fitness benefit. Please see Member Services staff to purchase your 5-visit punch card.

Y Connect is open to older adults in our community. You do not have to be a YMCA member or have an insurance fitness benefit to participate.

Y Connect is part of the YMCA’s larger effort to be more than a fitness facility—to serve as a community connection point where people can find opportunities for physical wellness, mental wellness, social interaction and support.

Come enjoy good food, fun activities, conversation and friendship—and come connect with us!
