Light Up 5k
Light Up 5K
Celebrate the holiday season with the YMCA of Harrison County and Main Street Corydon at the annual Light Up 5K! This family-friendly event combines outdoor activity, festive fun, and community connection as participants enjoy a scenic trail run or walk before heading downtown to experience the local holiday atmosphere.
Participants will follow the designated trail route and then have the opportunity to visit downtown Corydon, explore local businesses, and enjoy special holiday shopping opportunities. Gather your family and friends, dress in your most festive holiday gear, and join us for a fun way to celebrate the season while supporting our local community!
Whether you’re running, walking, or simply enjoying the holiday spirit, the Light Up 5K is a great way to get active and light up the season together.

2026 - Adult
Light Up 5K — Adult Registration
Join the YMCA of Harrison County and Main Street Corydon for the Light Up 5K on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM!
Adults can enjoy a festive outdoor 5K on the Indian Creek Trail. The route follows the trail along the creek, passes beneath Highway 62, and continues across the bridge before participants turn around and return to the finish area. No street running is planned.
After the 5K, participants can ride the YMCA bus downtown for approximately 45 minutes of holiday shopping and visits to local businesses, with participating merchants offering goodie bags or coupons. The bus will then return participants to the YMCA.
Registration fee: $10 per adult.
Get into the holiday spirit, show off your most festive outfit, and join us for a fun morning of fitness and community! A prize may be awarded for the most festive outfit.

Youth ages 17 and under are invited to participate in this festive 5K on the Indian Creek Trail. Enjoy time outdoors, get moving with family and friends, and help light up the holiday season!
